Basel > Bern > Zürich > Fribourg

I studied at the University of Basel from which I am holding a bachelor’s degree (English and media studies) as well as a master’s degree in language and communication.

From July 2014 until June 2017, I was a PhD-student at the University of Bern (Department of Linguistics, Department of German Studies) in a research project funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation ("Processing of language variation: A psycholinguistic approach to Swiss German varieties"; SNSF-database).

Afterwards, I was a post doctoral researcher at the phonetics laboratory at the University of Zurich (Department of Computational Linguistics) in the SNSF-project "Phonetic features of (multi-)ethnic urban vernaculars in German-speaking Switzerland" (SNSF-database, extension).

Currently, I am a post doctoral researcher at the University of Fribourg (Institute of Multilingualism) in the project "Acquisition of reading and writing skills in adult migrants with differing levels of literacy" (project side).

Furthermore, I started playing basketball when I was about 13 and have been coaching for more than 15 years. At the moment I coach teams with children between 7 and 14 years old (club website).
